Full Home Renovation - Concord, New South Wales

The owners of a private residence on the charming Macnamara Avenue sought the services of YGP to perform extensive alterations and additions. Tackling a large project scope, our work involved a full redesign of the property: planning new outdoor landscaping and structures, revamping the home’s exterior, and expanding the interior living space.

Our biggest change to the property was the addition of an upper floor. This decision had a dramatic impact on the rest of the interior’s layout, freeing up the ground floor for the implementation of a more spacious open layout. As a result, more natural light was able to be funnelled into the home, brightening the interior and playing off the cheerful new pastel colour scheme. 

The living and dining spaces open to the backyard via retractable glass doors, creating a natural transition to the chic new covered patio and entertainment area. Sleek paving around the pool is separated from the lawn section by an unobtrusive glass wall, providing safety while keeping the view clear. All of the property’s landscaping was redesigned to add more beauty to the site, as well as provide organic separators between distinct spaces.

Upon updating the home’s exterior, the dwelling took on a more appealing appearance that helped it find individuality in the neighbourhood without breaking away from the community’s classic aesthetic. The end result of this project was a new home design that delighted the clients with how well our team gave thought to their needs.
